Best Wines with Takeout
We know life is hectic and who wants to cook anyway? Here are some wines that our winemakers recommend with our favourite take-out meals:
With Chinese Take out:
We love to pair Croc Crossing Riesling with Chinese take out. The crisp, floral notes are perfect with plumb sauce, fried vegetables and lighter fare.
With Pizza:
We recommend Artists Series Gamay Noir. The fresh berry notes of this wine are a perfect match for the tomato sauce on a nice hot pizza pie. This Gamay is a bit of a chameleon and works well with chicken and fish as well. We call it the "Red wine drinker’s white".
With Chicken Wings:
Croc Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon. The bold, spicy, fruit forward Cabernet Sauvignon matches beautifully with some nice spicy wings and blue cheese dressing. Turn off the phone and the e mail and enjoy with some great company.
